her resurrection by Soumyadeep Koley “ When she is born, there is born with her a veritable, indomitable warrior. Together, they see, fight and endure so much—periods, childbirth, abortion, miscarriage, eve-teasing, rape, domestic violence, social stigma, breast cancer, trafficked into prostitution, being forced to renounce her dreams… Still why do we stereotype and say that men are stronger than women? ” Quoted from the book. *Spoiler Alert A woman her journey, oppressed, harassed, abused, raped, thrown into prostitution and she rises above all as a phoenix. Clichéd ? No!  I read few parts thinking isn’t it clichéd but soon I felt  sympathy for Maya, when did  sympathy take a turn to empathy I never knew. I wanted to weep every time the girl feared being exploited, every time she was harassed, every time she was used as a commodity, every time  women let themselves detach from their body believing if it saves a girl from being raped in the city, so it be.   Hope We Never Meet Again  by Srinath Krishnamoorthy Psychological, Hate Thriller? Well it’s a notch different. I would say a Psychological Hate thriller with a Tint of Supernatural to it. READ IT! You will not regret it. Busy with writing last month I couldn’t read it. Now that I finally sat with the book I was hooked. During the first part somewhere I felt a little drag and doubted is it relevant to the start that had made me think ‘ WHOA! What the heck happened? ’ But soon it got me back into the inescapable current. The narration is very different. Every reader who loves trying new Author should give it a try.  The story is hooking. For a first book it is a strong current which would suck you in, actually kind of whirlpool. Not all would like the style but nobody would feel it was a waste of time. If you are into thrillers, mind plays …watch out for this author - ‘Srinath Krishnamoorthy’. *Spoiler alert Very nostalgic, Palakkad, ottaplam, though never been

Book Review : I Don't wear SUNSCREEN by Kavipriya Moorthy Spoiler alert! A nice read: A psychological play coming into picture. Some suspense leaves you wanting to know what next. The friendship between Laksha and Pallavi is depicted nicely. The middle class family home and the values, how education is held at high pedestal, the crunch they would feel to use air travelling too frequently.  The strong mother and a caring father, everything fell into place. Few ambiguities left me wondering. We have Pallavi explaining how she was thankful for Laksha’s interference when it came to her friendship with Prabhu in the starting few chapters. I expected her 'point of view account' of the story throughout. And one or two times I felt I missed few pages where I had not. I expected Saurav to be more sympathetic to her even while  giving the pink slip. But human minds are unpredictable but it was me being a little 'empathetical'. Rounder character(except for La
